Uniting all segments of the tourism industry will provide us with great potential to use all the existing channels available to promote and raise awareness about the ocean pollution problem. Not only will we be able to raise awareness, but we will be given the opportunity to act directly in oceans, lakes, and rivers. The direct intervention in oceans in terms of extracting the plastic and other non-degradable waste is the most concrete result ever provided to the tourism industry. By acting directly, we will have a tremendous educational impact not only in this industry but on the global public in general.
