Some of the most famous and significant heritage sites are officially under UNESCO protection. Many of these areas are located on the seaside or close to lakes and rivers. OACM is currently working on developing a special marine conservation and cleaning program to protect the heritage sites under UNESCO protection and to maintain the natural and aquatic balance required to preserve marine life. One of the most specially designed OACM marine conservation programs is focused on castles and old cities in coastal areas.
