S.P.E.E.D. Unit

The S.P.E.E.D. UNIT (Special Protection Ecology Environment Unit) is the world's first group of professionally trained divers specializing in the protection of oceans, lakes, and rivers. This team was officially launched by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco in 2012, with the former captain and diver from the legendary Calypso, Francois Sarano, who is one of the world's most famous oceanographers and a great white shark specialist. Francois Sarano and the S.P.E.E.D. Unit leader and founder lead this group of divers into the most critically polluted oceans, lakes, and rivers and arrange underwater cleanups. Their efficiency is extraordinary when it comes to the amount of non-degradable waste they extract using just their hands and some simple equipment.
